Our President, John Quinn gave a highly impressive similtaneous display at the Club on Thursday 23rd August

In a three hour display John allowed only four of his fourteen opponents to record a positive score, finishing the evening with ten wins, two draws and two losses. He was particularly good at squeezing out endgame victories from positions where he held a small initiative. The two who beat him were James Ellis and Miguel Sanchez. Alastair Johnstone and newcomer, Frank Burnham achieved meritorious draws.
