Aside from the need for a late substitution on Board 2, there was little cause for concern as Ealing B moved to its fifth win from six outings.
Chris Greenshields' opponent was the only Richmond points scorer on the night and deserves credit for stopping Chris's great run of form. Elsewhere, Ealing's players showed little mercy. The final board has gone to adjudication with Ealing two pawns to the good and claiming the win.
Based on available results (to be ratified), this latest win puts Ealing at the top of Division 3 although some of our opponents have games in hand. The next few weeks will be critical in deciding whether we bounce straight back to Division 2.
