Ealing head the Middlesex League on their Website
: Created:09 Feb 2009 , byEaling's first team with six out of eight are top of the first division and our seconds are well-placed in the second division but ...
... further results not yet recorded on the Middlesex site have slightly worsened our position.
The first division table reads:
1. Ealing 6 points from eight matches (38 game points)
2. King's Head 5.5 from 7 (34 game points)
3. Hendon 5 from 10 (39.5 game points)
4. Athenaeum 4.5 from 8 (31.5 game points)
5. Muswell Hill 3.5 from 7 (30 game points)
6. Hackney 3 from 5 (25 game points)
7. West London 1 from 5 (11 game points)
8. Willesden 0.5 from 8 (19.5 game points)
However we believe that King's Head have recorded another victory which will have taken them to their accustomed number one position in the Middlesex league.
In the second division Imperial's first team have taken over from us the role of league leaders but their score of 6.5 from 12 is no guarantee even of promotion., let alone the title. Hammersmith have the best statistical record of the competing first teams, 5.5 from 8, but two second teams, Ealing and Hackney in third and fourth places respectively have five points.
With Metropolitan I (3.5 from 7) and Albany I (2 from 9) not impressing so far, Hackney II or Ealing II with a strong finish, could face a difficult decision about accepting elevation to the top division.
Current position
1. Imperial I 6.5 from 13
2. Hammersmith I 5.5 from 8
3. Ealing II 5 from 8
4. Hackney II 5 from 7
