It's been a frustrating season for Ealing A in the the Hillingdon League this season, with the fixture list thrown into chaos after the withdrawal of Pinner A. With the exception of cup matches, only one match was played before the start of the year and with two Harrow teams and Hatch End, most matches have involved a trip to North-West London.
Last Tuesday, however, the team was on fine form with a strong performance to defeat Hatch End's second string.
Although James Pack had an off night, the rest of the team were in ruthless mood and James Ellis, Jason Obihara and David Reichenberg all recorded wins, Jason deploying his 'secret weapon' with devastating effect for the second time in two matches.
The win means that, at the half-way point of a curtailed fixture list Ealing A have 2/4 which hopefully implies some degree of security for their Div.2 status. But, in the absence of any updates from the league, there is no way of knowing!
