Last Wednesday 25th March we made the long and tortuous journey to Surbiton where we defeated their 'C' team 6-0 in a third division fixture. The Surbiton C team was largely an inexperienced junior team and it would be fair to say that we all had a relatively untroubled evening. This was our fifth straight win on the bounce and takes us to third in the table. We have admittedly played more matches than the teams around us but still stand a good chance of finishing at least fifth out of twelve teams, which would be a creditable performance and matching that of last year (fourth out of eleven).

In complete contrast our final match of the season on Thursday 23rd April will be at home to the mighty Wimbledon C who are in contention for the divisional championship with our own 'B' team and I intend to field a strong team.
