With ninety-nine league fixtures on the Ealing list and at least four more cup matches, it is going to be a challenging season.

In the Thames Valley and Hillingdon leagues time limits will be faster (42 moves in 90 minutes) but compulsory quickplay finshes are still Beyond the Pale. Thankfully the laughable division one London league rules regarding quck/slow plays on alternate boards were rejected.

The Middlesex league confined itself to defining board order differences to ten ECF grading points. A sensible clarification.
