There were 22 players at the event and the first prize winners in the Open each scored 9 points. Simon Healeas, who remained undefeated, scored 8 points to win the Under 160 award.
There was an outstanding display by young Koby Kalvannan who not only won the under 130 award but outscored all but four of the competitors in the tournament. His was not the only terrific performance by a junior because Timothy Foster, Akshaya Kalaiyalahan (who beat Veljko) and Anna Purvis scored well and showed great ability.
