Facing a strong Surbiton C side, Ealing's Juniors can take great credit in emerging with a match draw.
With 140+ opponents on all the top three boards, Surbiton proved a little too strong, but Ealing fought back on the lower boards where the grading was equal and with the benefit of a default on board 6, were able to grab a valuable half match point to keep the possibility of promotion in sight.
