Congratulations to Ealing Juniors

Congratulations to all concerned.
Our Ealing Juniors B won the championship of division four last month. They finished in first place with eight points ahead of Meadhurst A who with new blood in their side have really surprised this season but it was our juniors who proved the stronger.
For the second successive season Ealing Juniors A have been promoted although we at Ealing admit to mixed emotions because the juniors strong finish deprived Ealing C of their chance of rising to the second division. Indeed our adult side Ealing C won both their matches at the beginning of the season against Ealing Juniors. However we must give enormous credit to the youngsters who refused to be down-hearted and achieved a win and a draw over Harrow B who were clearly the strongest side in the division and were runaway champions.
