The joint captains of our Middlesex league second team lead the way but a very determined effort by their challengers could yet catch them. 

Simon Healeas has completed his programme of seven games with four points. Mark Winterbotham stands equal on four but will improve his position if he wins or draws his adjournment versus Raj Jhooti. The result will be important because Raj in third place with 3.5 is a real threat to the joint leaders.

However Sam Sarna and Ben Wade cannot be ruled out of the final equation and it looks like being a thrilling finish to the tournament.
