Michael Adams arrives back in the top ten,

OK, as per my previous posting Adams won narrowly like Anatoly Karpov rather than sumptuously like Bobby Fischer. Not quite fair because Karpov who is in my opinion the third best player in chess history won plenty of tournaments by a considerable amount.

I'd be more confident of Adam's future prospects if his record against candidate Magnus Carlsen was not so miserable. In the meantime we in Britain must celebrate our best player in the Twenty-first century.
