A new challenge to Magnus Carlsen

Twenty-two year-old Fabiano Caruana performed out of his skin at the recent Sinquefield tournament.

Caruana shocked the chess world by winning his first seven games in arguably the strongest tournament ever. Carlsen, Kramnik, Topalov, Vachier-Lagrave and Hakamura fell before him. An astonishing three point victory for Caruana in the tournament followed.

Viswanathan Anand is world champion Magnus Carlsen's next challenger but Caruana looks to be the one for the future.
