Thames Valley League, Division Three: Ealing Thirds 4 - Meadhurst First 1
Contrasting fortunes at the Harvester last Thursday with our third team in the Thames Valley league continuing their splendid run with a convincing victory over Meadhurst. Our winning stars were James Ellis, Alex Gregory and Jerry Ball with James Pack and Pierre Davis adding excellent draws. Harvey Grewal could well add to the victory in his adjourned game.
On the other side of the room Martin Smith, Sainbayar Tserendorj and Syrm Shalabayev performed wonders for Ealing and Mike Lamb weighed in with a valuable draw but West London's narrow win ensures their first division status for another season.
